mind adventures

an experimental theatre company set up in sri lanka in 1999.

looking for jill

this is an audition call on behalf of steve de la zilwa, who is directing a production of peter shaffer’s ‘equus’ in october this year at the british school auditorium.

yes, it’s the play that’s on in the west end right now, in which daniel radcliffe gets his kit off. steve is looking for an actress capable of playing the role of jill. twenty-something hottie horse-mad stable hand who seduces the radcliffe character. there’s much more to her than meets the eye.

it would be great if you had stage experience, but it’s not essential.

the cast of ‘equus’ includes rohan ponniah (anna weiss 1998), ranmali mirchandani (anna weiss 1998), hiran abeysekera (romeo and juliet 2007), dylan perera (checkpoint 2006/7) and myself.

contact steve on 0777 535 750 for more details.

So this IS taking place after all! All I’ve heard about this to date is hashed, sorry, hushed rumours. Looking forward to this a great deal.

wow!! really cool! equus in SL!! i’ve heard alot about it.. a friend of mine in the US had gone to see it and apart from the nudity and all she told that the acting was so bloody awesome.. hope we can keep up to standards! (at least sri lankan english theater standards, which i’m sure will do coz most of the best are involved in this production already!) =D
